Coming to church can be hard. Walking into a building and not knowing anyone can sometimes be uncomfortable. We'd like to help with that. GBC offers a warm, relaxed, inviting atmosphere to any and all who are interested in learning more about Jesus. Maybe you're searching for something specific; maybe you only know you're searching for something. Either way, we're here for you. Here's how to get started:
We have services every Sunday at 10:30 AM. Prefer a more casual, discussion-based environment? Shoot us an e-mail and we'd be happy to help you find a community group that fits your schedule.
Everything's better with a friend!
Wear whatever makes you comfortable and don't forget: if you have kids, arrive a few minutes early to check them in. If you don't have kids, arrive a few minutes early anyway for coffee and snacks!
Grace Bible Church is located at 641 County Road 1050 E, just north of US 36 Rockville Road and east of Ronald Reagan Parkway.
Q: What do you guys believe?
A: Great question! There's more than can fit here, but here's the quick version: We believe that Jesus Christ is the living Son of God, who was sent by God the Father to die and take on the penalty for all of mankind's sins. We believe that He rose three days later, and anyone who has faith in what He did and puts their trust in Him has the security of eternal life in Heaven. For a more detailed summary of what we believe, look here.
Q: I've never been to Grace Bible Church before. Where do I go when I get there?
A: Look for anybody wearing a GBC lanyard. These fine people are our designated greeters and volunteers, and they'd be glad to help you find your way around.
Q: I have young kids; is there childcare during the Sunday service?
A: Absolutely. Once you arrive, you can check your children into our kid's area. For your child's safety, you will receive two matching stickers--one for your child and one for you. After the service, bring that sticker back to the kid's area. If you prefer to keep your children in the service with you, that's okay too! All our children's volunteers pass a required background check before being allowed to serve.
Q: What kind of music do you play?
A: We mostly play contemporary songs that you might hear on the radio, but we like to mix in hymns here and there as well. We have people of all ages and of all different backgrounds at GBC, and we try to keep that in mind with our music. If you'd like to get an idea of the songs we've played recently, check out our Spotify Playlist.
